FIRST FOLLOWERSHIP SESSIONS TO BE HELD AT NOVEMBER ILA CONFERENCE IN LOS ANGELES

In a clear statement of ILA's support for the innovative Followership Learning Community, ILA has

given followership two 90 minute slots during its Fall conference in Los Angeles. In addition, the

Followership Learning Community will hold an open business meeting to discuss how we can

build on the foundation that has been laid down this year. Please mark your calendars:

 

Thursday, November 13, 3:15 - 4:45, Redefining Followership: The Challenges
and the Pitfalls. Moderator, Jean Lipman-Blumen, co-editor, The Art of

Followership. Panelists: Barbara Kellerman, Michael Hogg, Rebecca Reichard,

Jon Howell, Maria Mendez. In addition to their other credits, Barbara

Kellerman is author of Followership:How Followers are Creating Change and

Changing Leaders, and the remaining panelists are all contributors to The

Art of Followship: How Great Followers Create Great Leaders and

Organizations.

 

 

Friday,  Novmber 14, 1:30 - 3:00 Effective Followership:Current and Future
Practice. Moderator, Ira Chaleff, co-editor of The Art of Followership.

Panelists Rodger Adair, Lorna Blumen, David Collinson, Gene Dixon, Michelle

Bligh. In addition to their other credits, all panelists are contributors to

The Art of Followership. We anticipate rich panel-audience interaction.
